Not a problem at all, our amplifier has multiple inputs meaning you can connect any device with an audio output. This is brilliant for keeping the amplifier hidden away in a cupboard.Your device would NOT need line of sight to play music through the connected speakers. Further Information - How to install. 1 - Connect the amplifier to the speaker switch. You need to run a small length of the supplied cable from the amplifier to the input of the switch. Using a pair of snips or a cable stripper...
Strip back the outer layer of cable to reveal the two inner cores. Strip back the inner cores, around half an inch is OK. This will expose the copper strands. Twist the strands tightly and insert one end into the amplifier and the other end into the speaker switch ensuring that the red core plugs into the red terminal on the amp and switch and the same for the black core... Now repeat this but go from the outputs on the speaker switch to the speakers 2 - Now that you have connected the speakers to the amplifier, it's time to connect the amplifier to the mains, simply plug in the supplied power cable to the amplifier and a 240V Mains wall socket.
3 - Turn on the amplifier via the power switch on the front of the device 4 - Finally, connect your source device to the system. If you want to connect via Bluetooth.
Set the amplifier to "Media Player" & press the "mode" button until the screen displays the word "Blue". Now enable Bluetooth on your device and commence a search. Select the amplifier and pair following the instructions on your device. Once paired, you can start streaming your music wirelessly. 5 - Multi-zone audio system allows you to play music in multiple areas and allows you to shut off individual zones when it suits you.
Each zone consists of 2 speakers, 1 left and 1 right. When installing, always keep the speakers in even numbers in each zone. You could install 2 speakers in your living room (1 left & 1 right) 2 in your kitchen (1 left & 1 right) 2 in your hall way / back room (1 left & 1 right) Businesses: You may want all 6 speakers in one area like a beer garden or factory.This is also perfectly fine to do. 5 zones turned on when you have wired up the system and all speakers will play at the same time in glorious true stereo. You would only ever use 3 of the. 5 zones on this splitter with 3 pairs of speakers but more could be added in the future if you needed them.
To connect via a wire, simply plug into the connections on the back and select the relevant source on the front of the amplifier... For example, if you plug a device into the connection labelled AUX, change the source wheel to select AUX.
