Inside the Monitor Audio Gold 50 Speaker, drivers are secured using a combination of a back plate and tensioned rod. This delivers on two accounts; firstly, a sturdy brace is created that limits issues like coloration of the box, and secondly, this gets rid of the need for a typical mounting hardware that is still found in traditional driver settings. The result is a reduction of resonance and making the speakers look more sophisticated. The Monitor Audio Gold 50 Speakers use an advanced form of ribbon transducers.
