8 2 Way Ceiling Speaker, 8ohm, 100W This listing is for 1 pair of speakers. A pair of 2-way ceiling speakers which are ideal for use as main or surround sound speakers in the wall or ceiling. The directional tweeter allows the higher frequencies to be focused at the listener to help create a better soundstage. These speakers are 8 ohm, if you have a 4-8 ohm stereo amplifier (which many are), you can run 2 pairs (4 speakers) in parallel with each other and the resistance will still be within the limits of the amplifier (4 ohms). Construction - The woofer is constructed from polypropylene and has a rubber surround, the directional tweeter has a ferrofluid cooled silk dome. The speakers are fitted into a 238mm cut-out and require at least 90mm of clearance behind. Speaker cable should be fitted to the gold plated spring loaded terminals, the speaker can then be placed in the ceiling and secured using the'dog ear' mounts. 20cm / 8" 20mm (0.75") Tweeter Gold plated spring loaded terminals Built-In Crossover. 2-Way Speakers Power RMS - 60w.
