Vintage 1980s 80s 1990s 90s Bookshelf Stereo Speakers RCA Plug (or Raw Wire)

  
Late 80s, maybe early 90s. Currently have RCA PLUGS on the back... Making them compatible with lots of older 1950s, 1960s, 1970s stuff and lessor amounts of 80s... OR you could cut off the plugs and turn them into raw-wire speakers and they'd be compatible with lots of newer stuff.

While I dont know exactly what wattage these are rated for, they would been originally paired with a low wattage combination system (cassette/record player/radio etc). So we both should assume they are rated for 40 Watts max i. If you hook them up to a modern 100 Watt system and crank the volume all the way up you'll almost certainly destroy them.

That said - they sound absolutely lovely (and in some ways superior) and likely have paper-cones, making them light and crisp for vocals etc. They'll sounds stunning for an NPR newscast...

But will not fill up the room with rap or bass. 11.25" W x 5.5" D x 19 T.
